CerecyteMicrus Cerecyte Registry

  • A registry to evaluate outcomes at one year post-mmbolization with the Micrus Cerecyte Microcoil System.

Hypothesis:

  • Aneurysms treated with CERECYTE coils will demonstrate effective long-term angiographic occlusion and a patent parent artery at 12-19 months

Objective:

  • To evaluate the clinical and angiographic outcomes of intracranial aneurysm embolization using the Micrus Cerecyte Microcoil System

Study Design:

  • Prospective, single arm, multi-center registry
  • Non-experimental: Assessments based on standard-of-care
  • Designed to document the immediate and long-term (12-19 month) angiographic outcomes using modified Raymond-Roy grading scale (RRGS)
  • Angiograms assessed by an independent Core Lab

Enrollment Progress:

  • 250 Patients enrolled from 15 US centers
  • An interim analysis is currently being prepared to submit for publication
