Advisors and Centers

Micrus has been committed to establishing an active Scientific and Medical Advisory Board (SMAB) comprised of pre-eminent, internationally recognized experts in fields directly related to the Company's product development efforts. Under the guidance of Andrew Molyneux, MD, its Medical Director, the Company will assemble a distinguished group of individuals with superior research experience and clinical expertise that works closely with Micrus management to advise on scientific strategy, research, and development.
 
Scientific and Medical Advisory Board meetings will be held with Micrus management. The Company's research and development staff will meet more informally with members of the SMAB to exchange ideas and review scientific data related to the Company's projects.
